Most dance studios where I am are either: The name of the town (Newtown Dance Center) Fairly generic (studio for performing arts) (dance express) Name of the owner (Jane Smith's studio of dance).The first time I watched Dance Moms, I remember thinking the manufactured drama with Candy Apples was so fake and stupid. Upon rewatch, I think it's hilarious. Cathy went from using her own team, to gaining Kendall, and then to getting new talented kids (on a rotating basis) to perform for her.
